        My Journey

        Hi!

        I’m Lilya

My work is shaped by a long, lived relationship with inner life — through experience, practice, rupture, repair, and the ongoing discipline of staying present with what is real.

What you encounter here is not a method or philosophy, but the result of decades spent learning how to listen: to the body, to emotional life, to relationship, and to the quiet intelligence that reveals itself when we slow down.

        Hi

        How This Path Took Shape

For over twenty years, I’ve been immersed in self-inquiry, trauma-aware practice, and embodied living. My learning has come through many forms — study, practice, mentorship, failure, and the ordinary demands of being human.

Rather than accumulating techniques, my work has been shaped by integration: learning how different strands of experience speak to one another, and how insight becomes meaningful only when it is lived.

I’m interested in what remains when performance drops away — when we stop trying to become someone and begin learning how to live with greater honesty and responsibility.

        What Informs My Work

I don’t work from a single discipline or lineage. Over time, I’ve learned to draw from different fields — psychological, somatic, shamanic, relational, and contemplative — without turning them into a system.

What matters most to me is not the language we use, but whether the work supports:

        • self-leadership rather than dependency

        • integration rather than intensity

        • responsibility rather than idealisation

        • relationship rather than isolation

My role is not to lead others through a path, but to walk alongside them as they learn to trust their own discernment.

        Where I am Now

What calls me now is simplicity, honesty, and care — living in a way that allows for depth without excess, and clarity without rigidity.

Like everyone, I continue to learn through relationship, limits, and change. I don’t consider this work a destination, but a practice — one that asks for humility, patience, and ongoing self-responsibility.

        A Closing Orientation

If something here resonates, you’re welcome to take your time with it.

There is no need to rush, decide, or define anything immediately. This work does not ask for belief, readiness narratives, or a particular identity. It asks only for a willingness to be honest about where you are, and to move at a pace your life and nervous system can actually hold.

        Hi
        My Journey
        Lilya Sabatier: My Journey

Some people arrive here in moments of transition. Others come when nothing is obviously wrong, but something no longer fits. Many arrive simply because they are no longer interested in performing their lives.

There is no ideal entry point, no required background, and no promise of arrival. The work unfolds through relationship, practice, and lived experience — slowly, and often quietly.

If you choose to explore further, do so in your own time and in your own way. Discernment matters here. Not every path is for everyone, and not every moment is the right moment.

Thank you for being here, and for taking the time to read, listen, and reflect.

        Warmly,
        Lilya
